Meet The Artist

My name is Kimberly Escoto aka Sriracha Kimo, mom of two boys who's trying her best to grind for them. All of my work earnings goes to their future because I want them to live an easier life than I did. Being a child of a single immigrant parent had its dark moments but I'm glad it made me who I am today. Here's my story....
Ever since I was a young, I had difficulties making friends due to constantly moving around.  Drawing my favorite cartoon characters was my form of escaping the harsh reality/loneliness that life had during that time.
Growing up my influences were the works of Satoshi Tajiri (Creator of Pokémon), Hayao Miyazaki (Founder of Studio Ghibli), John Russell Dilworth (Creator of Courage the Cowardly Dog) and Salvador Dali.
I had many doubts about becoming an artist because many suggested it wasn’t a “realistic” career. It was here that I realized that I wanted to pursue my career in this field, regardless of what others said.
I went on to study Animation in Miami-Dade College where I earned my qualifications (AS) in Animation & Game Art.
I work primarily in both Digital & Traditional art and I currently work from home as a freelancer.
My interest in anime, dark things, and my experience in life is what heavily influences my art. This is why I believe I don't have a set art style since it's constantly moving along with me. I love a good challenge especially if it is something out of the "norm".
